  This group will be concentrating on Gothic Art. We will be accepting mostly manipulations, and photography. From dark to fantasy including Fae, Angels, and Mermaids. This is not a horror group, but a few of our members create horror images, so we included a folder just for them. We hope you enjoy the group. There will be changes made as the group grows but "The Song Remains the Same."   You must be a member to submit to our galleries. You may submit 4 deviations a week. All manipulations MUST contain credits. If the human body offends you please leave your content filters on. We reserve the right to turn down any art not fitting the groups theme. Please submit to the proper folder. If your art is turned down, it counts against your weekly total. We want to feature your best art. Please do not submit things you are not proud of. We will only accept traditional art of a Gothic Nature, but keep in mind we want quality work only. There are many seasoned artists creating some powerful images. Screen Caps, Literature, W.I.P., ID's, Unfinished Art, Cartoons, Manga, Fan Art, Posters, Stamps. We want to preserve QUALITY over QUANTITY. and will not accept art that you are not proud of. Use your head images, containing self harm, racist images or cruelty towards any human or animal including and especially children are not welcome here. We reserve the right to update this list as we see fit.  |

A company called "Avidly Wild Games" is currently trying to raise the funds to make a dark Roguelike Action RPG game called "Our Darker Purpose". The game is set in a dark orphanage called "Edgewood Home For Lost Children", and you play as a girl named Cordy, one of the student there. One day, all the teachers and adults of the school vanish, and the children there, with no adults around, begin giving into their darker instincts, battling each other for control over the school. Cordy decides to ascend the orphanage to the Administrator's Office at the top floor.
The project needs $40,000.00 in order to be funded, and needs to achieve this goal by June 27th at 1:02 PM EDT. As of this post, they currently have $18,289.00.
I myself am not involved in the project in any way. It has simply captured my attention for some time, and I think it would be nice if this project got funded. I myself don't have much in the way of help I can offer them, but I thought fans of darker fiction would be willing to help the project get funded. By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just up and showing you this out of the blue, or presumptuous in assuming your group would want to help out in funding simply because they're fans of dark things. Sure, I could just post something about it, but on my own DA page, I often wonder if anybody sees it. So, I decided to go directly to people I feel would be most interested. Still, sorry if I seemed weird or presumptuous.
That said, let me know what you think of the Kickstarter Project once you see the links, if you would that is.
